The Snoozefest Logo

snoozefestaudioI designed the SnoozeFest logo to be an emoticon. At first it was just the degree symbol and the right bracket, but later I added the broken bar in between. It can be seen two ways. It's either a person snoring... the degree being the mouth, the bar, two closed eyes, and the bracket some furtive eyebrows, as if they're dreaming.
But it can also be seen as the profile of a wide awake person, listening.
The degree is the ear. The bar is like long hair. And the bracket is the face profile with the nose sticking out.
The logo is meant to encompass the two purposes of ambient audio tracks I record... either to fall asleep to... or to actively listen to while meditating.
