Speaking of my dad...

snoozefestaudioSomething seemed off with him starting on Sunday. He was weaker and slower than normal and his voice was more frail. He said he had a cold... which worried me, because... when he says that, it's usually a 911 call for an ambulance a few days later!
By yesterday, the day I had to get fingerprinted and talk with the new supervisor... he seemed a lot slower, and a lot weaker... but still insisted he only had a cold and otherwise felt fine.
So today I drove him to the ER myself, first thing in the morning, and four hours later, after a bunch of testing, they admitted him becasue he had covid... and a lung bacterial pneumonia not related to covid... AND his kidneys weren't going at 100%... which was not related to the pneumonia, or the covid!
So... three unrelated problems simultaneously!
But all the way up until the doctor came in and explained that too us... he was still, in his frail voice, half unconscious... like, "all I have is a cold."

Hopefully I got him in there in time to save his ass!
I don't care if he's 87. He's gotta make it to at least 90!... at home!
