Day Wasted Mowing

78F and partly cloudy this, still-technically morning!
This weekend is one of only two that are left to prepare for the move!
Well... wait a second...
Oh!... Okay... I actually have three weekends left to prepare for the move, because the move is happening on a Monday!
WHEW!
That means there's still time for a sale too!
Well, anyway, the lawn needs mowing again very badly, and it's gonna be hot today, so after I've had some coffee here, the plan is to bust out the mower and get started.
Back yard today... front yard tomorrow.
But my back's been fine all week, so I should be able to get a lot more done with my Saturday and Sunday.
Mr. Taylor called me yesterday afternoon to ask how it went with the inspectors.
He said the good inspectors never deliver their reports the same day, and that this had been a $1000.00 inspection.
But he was glad to hear from me that the guy had said it was mostly just wear and tear.
And he said if the report was good, he thinks we can close by July 2nd or 3rd.
I'm happy that this house finally got a thorough check-up, and the doctor says she's sound!
If we do close, then I'm gonna advocate for Natalie.
I've still got the receipt from the nursery for her on the bulletin board in the kitchen.
Didn't get far out there before I bent the blade on a tree stump.
My fault for getting too close.
Luckily I have a spare.
But I'm already dripping with sweat, so I'm gonna cool off before replacing it.
Back yard and north side are done.
Not bad, considering most Saturdays I'm not on even on my feet until right now.
I still have the dog yard and the south side to do.
Everything's done but the parking!
My last pair of batteries died as soon as I started on the parking.
Now I've gotta wait until the pair on the charger is charged back up.
I hate how much of the day this eats up!
