Inspection Eve

79F and partly cloudy this morning... on it's way up to 90F this afternoon. But then it's supposed to rain and cool down in the evening.

Yesterday I was rushing to get video and photos of he house to Taylor.

Tomorrow an inspector will be here, promptly at 9AM.

Today's just a breather.

My back's been fine all week, and though I did have to move furniture around in 296 yesterday, it wasn't as crazy as anything last week.

I'm really gonna be hustling over the weekend to make up for lost time.

Sanded the walls in 296 today, then cleaned up and vacuumed.

After that I got a start on the primer.

Was thinking I'd get the whole room primered today, but I only got two walls.

Running the vacuum, I thought about Cloud... and how the janitor phase of this job with GeoStaff was the shortest stint I've spent in one position in, like 30 years!

A year & eight months.

I mean... after being unemployed for over a year... I spent two hours looking for a part time job... got hired over the phone by the first person who called me... and in under two years, I moved up to being a maintenance guy full time for 21 bucks an hour!

That is NOT a bad comeback!
