FICO bump

68F and overcast this morning, and everything outside is wet. We seem to have gotten a lot of rain overnight.

The big news today is that my FICO score (according to Experian) is finally back up to 750!

That's where it was most of this year.

My credit useage is down to 8%... which is still higher than the 6% it had been all year.

And that's odd, because I have more available credit now.

So I don't think they have all the numbers yet.

Back in August, when it was last at 6%, I still had the $3000.00 of credit with Care Credit. But I also had a balance of over $1000.00 on Wells Fargo.

Care Credit went away in September, but I gained $4000.00 more in available credit with two new cards, and have paid Wells Fargo down to $200.00.

So... I should be under 6% credit useage.

Thus, it should drop lower soon, and make the score go a bit higher.

Still waiting on that quit claim to get here. It'll probably be Monday at the earliest that I can get it notarized and then hand it off to City Hall for a week.

After I get the transfer stamp, I'll have to take it up to the county to get recorded.

Only then can I start shopping for a home loan.

So I have to keep that FICO score high for a while!

But you know the October event is gonna cost some money!

So I may have to just pay for clothes and other stuff out of what's left in savings... to avoid putting anything on cards.

So... still walking that tight rope!

I found the quit claim in the mailbox just before leaving for work today.

I'll have to call the library in the morning and set up an appointment for a notary on Monday at 10AM, if possible.

Other than that, just a routine Thursday.

I'm always happy though, when Thursday is over and I'm back home.

It's been a slow week, but I've made some progress.

Got the missing glass pane Monday.

Glazed Window A on Tuesday.

And then today my FICO score returned to 750, and I got the quit claim from Colleen & Justin.

Also got some Dynaflex, and some masking tape.

And we got some rain.

And it finally cooled down.

If I make the notary appointment in the morning... not too bad a week.
